When laughter turns uncontrollable, in situations in which you're 'supposed' to be serious...?
any way to suppress that unavoidable laughter...? (like, during a lecture or something) :P
Grit your teeth, frown, and focus your thoughts on something more serious. Tell yourself repeatedly that it isn't funny OR give yourself warnings that laughing will only result in '...' and '...' and it is pointless and worthless and '...' to laugh now and you'll regret for life etc etc. Just do all the negatives and you should be fine.
Easier said than done though :P

The ONLY way my teachers dealt with my uncontrollable laughter (and my friend's) was telling us to get out of classroom. :)
I loved annoying some of my teachers, in high school.
In college, they were cool with it.

Look away in other direction.. don't look at anybody.. and grit your teeth. take a loud sigh, to release the pressure inside... that should help..
just laugh get it out of your system
suppressing it only makes it funnier
suppressing it only makes it funnier
slap yourself really hard in the face.
I agree with Robert C :-D
