Republican Congressman lies about health reform at Kansas town hall, his constituents erupt in laughter?
After falsely claiming Obama's plan will force every doctor to "make the same [amount of money a year]," the room can't contain their laughter.
Is it a bad sign for the GOP when even Kansas isn't taking them seriously anymore?

Too funny...I guess it doesn't look like Kansas anymore, Toto. Sounds like this Congressman needs to make more trips back home to get in touch with his constituency and learn that people are not going to stand and wait to have the wool pulled over their eyes anymore. Kudos to Kansas!!!
From Obama's own mouth: "leveling the playing field"... did you think He meant a football stadium? Anyhow, I liked the one Obama told when He said the Plan won't cover illegal aliens... will they just let them die on the doorstep... or is He LYING when He said this? Maybe when He said "aliens" He meant Venusians so then it wouldn't be LYING... LYING just like when He said it wouldn't cover abortions, He meant "reproductive choices" as He said to Planned Parenthood. A simple "turn of the phrase" makes it TRUE! If you want a State where "THEY" aren't being taken seriously, look to Nevada: Reid's on his surrendering way out! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! NEXT!
Conservatives also laugh at Obama's/liberals lies too.
Btw, you liberals can keep talking about how bad a sign X thing is for the GOP all the way until 2010 when they take back Congress because so many Americans are tired of the lies and hypocrisy.

Wow!
Those four that laughed really brought the house down.
Now, lets watch a few of the democrats at town-hall meetings.
That will be good for a real laugh.

You should see the things we say about him in the Topeka Capital-Journal. Calling him a moron and/or a Chickenhawk is just the tip of the iceberg. Tihart is a class-A jerk.
I know this know Bad Things are for Republicans Its Sad, Kansas Republicans to be careful from here on out the people know the Heartlessness in the Heartland the Constituents are getting tired of it.
in cuba, the beacon of reform that michael moore thinks we should emulate, no dr. makes more than 30 dollars a month. sit and watch.
Bad sign when Kansas constituents are not fooled by GOP talking points.
A congressman actually said that? I'm not sure if Kansas is getting smarter or if the GOP's getting dumber.
you missed the point, they were laughing at the proposal which, to most people is laughable
i've always known republican leaders to secretly want to be stand up comedians
Liberals are nice, fair, brilliant and right all of the time.
if govt controls health care, doctors then work exclusively for govt..what job have you had where you decide how much you make?...i wish ppl would think..
Good for Kansas! They are getting wise !
Sounds made up...
Well maybe the congressman didn't word his thoughts properly. Truth is doctors will have a huge loss indeed, but guess what ... their malpractice insurance will continue to hike, their supplies will get more expensive, cost of life for everybody will go higher including doctors and their practices ... you will see a lack of doctors and we will have to import more than 50 percent from overseas ... which i am not sure it isn't the case already. Mind you I have nothing against foreign doctors but talk about killing a career in the US.
The laughter were there because people have no clue what doctors have to pay ... of course they know how much the make ... they are "rich" ... but it is not all take home money trust me.
