Rain on a tin roof, a child's laughter, what is your favorite sound(s)?
Sounds are wonderful and they vary from person to person. It would be great to hear from others and see how common/different the sounds that are enjoyed.Here's my favs,yes,,,,,,rain on a tin roof while sitting on an old squeaky porch swing, a happy child is like music to the ears, I love to hear them laugh. Light thunder storms, a cow's moo and a goat's ba, a rooster's crow, the low whistle of a distant train,the soft trickle of a flowing brook and a crackling fire with friends gathered around singing old folk songs and sharing stories. Here are a few of mine,what are yours?
purring cat, fireplace, someone in the kitchen making coffee in the morning while i"m still in bed.
love the light thunderstorms with rain hitting the windows, or a chim in the wind, and this is going to sound funny but my husbands light snore and breathing. lol. he sometimes works nights and i was surprised to find just how comforting it is to hear him beside me and how much i miss him when he isnt here.
Perhaps the lack of loud sounds in a deep forest except for birds chirps, the rustle of dead leaves when a squirrel runs through them and the wind in tree branches,
