Laughter is not the best medicine?

I am taking part in a debate and i have to speak against laughter is the best medicine and i know it is very difficult.
I cannot think of anything so can someone please suggest some points.

If I were you I would try to put some kind of irony into it. Like saying something that is so ridiculous it is funny and makes people laugh.
