laughter and then some

Laughter and tears are both responses to frustration and exhaustion. Which do you prefer? Laugh or cry?

A regular good laugh is healthy. It actually mitigates the effects of exhaustion and frustration. At times when the laugh is so good you tend to feel wetness in your eyes due to tears which is good as well. So my choice is obvious, I'll go with a good laugh.
Ideally it has to be balanced so that you know how to handle both situations. But in real life you can see people tend to be titled towards either one of them for their own reasons. Some are laughing all the time thinking it will solve their problem but it does not. The other side is people just do not let go their past sadness and live in it and never try to laugh away their sorrows.
I used to dance with misery,
Shut up with the sorrows, then to jingle with the frustrations. and explore the depth of my dreams in my sleep, in my weariness (and terrible exhaustions..).
I still rest in peace, when I know how to face tomorrow.

Thank you!!
I don't prefer one. I just need a good balance, which I think I have found.
