If laughter is the best medicine, why do people say they 'died laughing'?
I was left in serious condition once because of prolonged giggling.
That really is a good question.
I think it's because it's like getting high on laughing.

Laughter=medicine
Too much laughter=dead
medicine=cure to sickness
too much medicine= getting sick or dying
If you have too much medicine (like if you are addicted or something) you will die.

Have you ever tried to breathe during a laugh-attack? The risk of suffocation from sudden bouts of extreme laughter is no laughing matter!
Because sometimes the best thing to do when all medicine fails is to "pull the plug".
