Dreams of Screaming and Laughter?
well this dream started with my girlfriend and i in a room that looked like it was filled with boxes like a huge room. it was extremely dark and we was playing hide and go seek. it turned from that to me being in a dark room and i was on a bed. i yelled for my dads name and every time i did there would be a fast and high pitched laugh. i yelled louder and then it would laugh louder. this happened about a good 8-9 times. i was screaming dad so loud i ran out of breath. i woke up terrified and shivers roll down my body. can anyone please help me?
Yes, I can help you. Since you had this dream, you are obviously ready to understand what it means.
Our subconscious creates little plays or skits in order to bring something (in symbolic form) to our attention.
All players in these skits are us. People in my dreams are ME. People in your dreams are YOU. No one else is truly in your dream. It is you (your subconscious talking to you) so you have nothing to be afraid of.
It appears as though you are playing with your girlfriend. Actually, your subconscious is illustrating that you are in the dark about your feelings, that you are "playing hide and go seek" with her,
The boxes (another mystery= being in the dark) represent a female sex organ (box). You are in the dark (ignorant) about women, girls, etc., because there are many boxes. There is also a (larger mysterious box = mother).
Then, your subconscious put you in another situation (literally in the dark again) in a bed. People usually have intimate physical relations in a bed, usually in a dark room, but not always.
You are lost, confused and frightened. You don't know what to make of this. You hear laughter and screaming because you are superstitious and your subconscious is reflecting that back to you also.
Remember, your subconscious is you. It is your friend. When it presents dramas, skits and plays to you, it is trying to help you evolve, to grow, to understand. Go on the Net and look up female anatomy. Nothing to be afraid of. No big mystery. They teach it in school.
Do not be afraid of a scary skit just because it makes no sense to you. Turn and face your fear head-on in your dreams.
Remember, dreams, when presented in symbolic form, are not to be taken literally.
In some cultures family members gather around the dinner table to discuss their dreams in order to help each other decipher them...to make sense of them.
Welcome your dreams. Immediately, upon awakening, write down every single detail you can remember. Was it day or night? Light or dark? Describe the setting. Describe what you heard and saw. Who said what? What did you feel..describe textures, colors, smells. Get used to recalling your dreams in detail. You will evolve faster if you pay attention to your dreams (your subconscious messages.)
I hope this helped.

screaming, symbolizes anger and fear.
It is an expression of your powerful emotions which you have kept pent up inside.
laughing, suggests that you need to lighten up and let go of your problems.
Don't put so much pressure on yourself.
Laughing is also a sign of joyous release and pleasure

i had an very similar dream once-my dad was the one laughing at me and it was a very eery laugh. i was trying to get him to stop laughing and i actually woke up screaming!
maybe it has something to with how you think your dad views you. do you think you're a disappointment somehow?
