Can anyone explain this? "Laughter is the shortest distance between two people"?
I was a little confused on its interpretation.
I think what it means is that you find people grow closer to each other when there is laughter involved. Think about if you are angry with someone, you want to confront them, but then seperate yourself from them. But when you laugh with someone you grow close to them.
In other words, everyone knows how to have a good laugh, and appreciating humor and laughter is something that everyone has in common, no matter how different they are otherwise.
I think that it means that since everyone laughs than it makes them more alike. Everyone is related by laughter.
I heard that laughter isn't a response you can control, even in a situation like that where you don't want to be touched?
